"APOSTLE OF CHASTITY" BANNED FROM DRIVING

BELFAST PRIEST CAUGHT DOING 100 MPH IN AUDI A4 BANNED FROM DRIVING

Fr Patrick Devlin broke the speed limit in March this year
Bottom of Form
A clergyman who was caught doing 100mph in an Audi A4 on the M2 motorway has been banned from driving for a month.

Fr Patrick Devlin, 52, who is a chaplain responsible for the deaf community in the Down & Connor Diocese and is also the parish priest of the St Vincent de Paul Parish in the Ligoneil area of North Belfast, broke the 70mph speed limit on Sunday March 12 this year.

He was caught while on his way to open up a community centre to hold a service for the deaf.
The priest, from Ligoniel Road, already had nine penalty points on his licence and was banned for a month.
He was accompanied by another clergyman at Antrim Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Fr Devlin pleaded guilty to a charge of excess speed and a defence solicitor said his client had previously worked for Marks & Spencer before becoming a priest.
The solicitor added that as well as being a parish priest, the defendant is also a chaplain for the deaf and a chaplain to the Mater Hospital.
The lawyer said Fr Devlin wished to apologise and realised he has to "confine himself" to lower speeds.
The court heard the priest had previously been disqualified from driving for 14 days at Newtownards Court.
District Judge Peter King said getting fixed penalties was "almost an annual event" for the priest.
He added "You are sailing very close to the wind in terms of speed and holding onto your licence."
The judge banned the priest from the road for a month along with a £75 fine.

Fr Devlin made no comment to the press when he left court.

PAT SAYS:

I do not particularly like Paddy Devlin or indeed his brother PP Tony.

I have listened to a lot of people in their various parishes who did not like them either.

We have found them arrogant and bossy - particularly when it comes to the school teachers and principals in their parishes.

The only personal connection I had with Paddy Devlin was when he published right wing Catholic material on his parish website asking young men with masturbation problems to seek his help.

He was promoting the Theology of the Body of Pope John Pole.

SPEEDING:

Many of us have been guilty of speeding. I was stopped on one occasion for doing 40 in a 30 zone.

My "punishment" was to attend a speeding course.

I thought that the course was going to be tedious but I was wrong. It was highly informative and challenging.

It brought home to me the severe consequences an extra 10 mph could have on other road users and pedestrians.

I have been much more careful since.

However Father Devlin's 100 mph - even on a motorway - is serious.

And he seems to do speeding a lot - according to the judge.

Hopefully he has learned his lesson this time.

"THE APOSTLE OF CHASTITY":

My most recent "involvement" with Paddy Devlin was on the occasion he was publishing right wing Catholic stuff about sex.

He was peddling John Pole's Theology of the Body on his website.

He was also inviting young men with MASTURBATION problems to visit him to talk about their masturbation !!!

SPEEDING:

I have never been banned from driving.

But I was caught speeding on one occasion. I was doing 40 in a 30 zone.

My punishment on that occasion was to attend a speeding course.

I thought that the speeding course would be tedious. But I was wrong. It was very informative and it really brought home to me the dangers of speeding - especially for other road users and pedestrians.

Since that course I have really tried to change my whole attitude to speed.

FATHER BRENDAN COLLINS - DERRY DISAPPEARED

Derry diocese Catholics - and especially the parishioners of Long Tower Parish - are still asking - ONE YEAR LATER - about the sudden disappearance of their curate Father Brendan Collins - a native of Omagh.

One night they went to bed and Brendan was their priest.

The next morning when they woke up he was GONE!

Of course rumours are rife. Without clarification rumours do abound.

What happened?

1. Why did he disappear?

2. Where did he go?

3. Will he be back?

Parishioners have asked DONAL MC KEOWN the bishop for clarity. He has refused to answer any questions.

They don't even know if he is still living?

What are we to do?

Have the PSNI searched any unused septic tanks on Derry church properties?

FROM MAYNOOTH TO PARADISE

HUGH "COWBOY" CONNOLLY SAYS MASS ON SUN DRENCHED

FRENCH BEACH

QUESTION: WHAT REWARD CAN YOU EXPECT FROM SCREWING UP A NATIONAL SEMINARY?

ANSWER: A SOFT NUMBER IN PARIS AND SAYING YOUR MASS ON A BIN ON A SUN DRENCHED FRENCH BEACH.

The above picture of the former "highly regarded! president of GAYNOOTH was sent to us by a French contact.

It shows the Bold Hugh celebrating Mass on a sun soaked French beach - a long way from the dark granite walls and rain of Maynooth.

After TEN YEARS of guiding MAYNOOTH to INTERNATIONAL PROMINENCE Hugh is now the chaplain to the Irish Community in the French capital.

Over there in Paris many people do not know about the STRANGE GOINGS ON in Maynooth.

They have not heard of GORGEOUS or the Kerry jewel in the Crown KING PUCK.

They just see this well tanned Irishman in his 50s wearing a RAINBOW / GAY coloured stole celebrating Mass for them on the beach.

Presumably followed by a fine French beach picnic of baguette, camembert, Toulouse sausage, cassoulet, tart tatin, and all washed down with a fine Chateauneuf du Pape and rounded off with a Nolsette coffee, petit fours and a large cognac.

With a job like this why would our Hughie even want to die and go to Heaven!

He is already in Heaven - reaping his reward for the great job he did in forming a generation of devout, prayerful, celibate, "pure as the driven snow"  Irish priests.

And to think also that Hugh had a narrow escape.

He could have spent the final 20 years of his life in dark and rainy County Down places like Aghaderg, Drumgath, Moyraverty or Saval - no insult meant to the good people of those rural faith communities.

But instead Paris beckoned.

The Good Lord said to Hugh:

"Bien fait bon et fidèle serviteur. Venez prendre possession de la récompense prévue pour vous depuis la fondation du monde"

(Well done faithful servant. Come take possession of the reward prepared for you since the foundation of the world)

We all know that from the beginning of time God had prepared the Paris reward for the man who made Maynooth what it is today.

Maybe it is a little early.

But should we not be thinking and talking of Saint Hubert du Paris?

Police Reportedly Break Up Gay Sex Party In Vatican City

Neighbors' complaints drew authorities to the apartment, owned by the aide to a cardinal.

Police reportedly broke up an “orgy” in June in an apartment belonging to a Vatican priest, according to Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano (The Daily Fact).

Details of the incident are slim, though neighbors’ complaints reportedly drew authorities to the apartment, which is owned by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. The official tenant is the secretary of Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, a key adviser to the Pope Francis.

It’s been reported drugs were found on the premises, as well as a group of men engaged in sexual activity. The priest, who was purportedly in line for promotion to bishop, was taken for questioning.

While sex scandals have plagued the Catholic Church for decades, reports of impropriety in Vatican City have increased in recent years: In 2015, leaked documents indicated that several properties around Rome owned by the Vatican were being used as brothels and massage parlours where priests pay for sex, according to sources.

News of the arrest comes just weeks after Australian cardinal George Pell, another top aide to the Pope, was hit with multiple sex abuse charges.

Interestingly Cardinal Coccopalmerio has voiced some support for the LGBT community: After the 2014 Synod on the Family, he expressed disappointment that the Church was not addressing the positive elements of gay relationships.

We have both doctrine and people to consider. Let’s consider a very problematic topic, extremely current: the topic of homosexual couples. If I meet a same-sex couple, I observe right away that their relationship is illicit: that is what the doctrine says, and I reaffirm that with absolute certainty.

Image result for a swiss guard

Nevertheless, if I stop at doctrine, I don’t see the people anymore. But if I observe that two people really do love each other, say they practice charity towards the needy… then I can also say that, while their relation remains illicit, in those two people there emerge positive elements. Instead of closing my eyes to those positive aspects, I want to underline them. It is a matter of being objective and recognizing, objectively, the positive points in a given relationship, that is illicit in itself.

PAT SAYS:

This latest incident in The Vatican is the last in a long line of gay scandals.

Whether in Ireland at Maynooth - or in The Vatican the GAY CABAL is running the show.

It involves cardinals, bishops, priests and lay workers.

HELPING A NEW PRIEST ABUSE VICTIM

I HAVE SPENT THE LAST FEW DAYS LISTENING TO / TRYING TO HELP A MAN IN HIS 40'S WHO WAS RAPED BY A PRIEST WHEN HE WAS TEN!

The young man and the priest are both from a Northern Ireland Catholic diocese. The victim has never spoken about his abuse before.

He was a ten year old altar boy at the time of the abuse. He was a particularly good looking boy and has retained some of those good looks.

After Mass one morning the priest dismissed the other altar boys and asked Kevin (not his real name) to wait behind.

The priest then locked the sacristy and church doors and went back to rape the frightened altar boy.

The priest felt the boy all over his body through his clothing and ran his hands through his hair.

He then pulled down the boy's blue jeans and underwear and abused the boys genitals with his mouth.

When he was finished that he turned the boy around and bent him over. He then lubricated his own penis and raped the boy until he bled!

He then cleaned the boy with the sacristy water and towel and sent him on to school.

The priest warned him not to tell anyone as no one would believe him.

He also was told that his parents would not believe him, that they would beat him for lying about the priest and that he would be sent to a home or a boarding school.

The boy only got the courage to tell his female cousin about this attack last week - 34 years after it had happened.

In the meantime the boy - trying to deal with his abuse and rape - became very angry and boisterous - got into minor trouble with the police - and has abused alcohol and drugs.

He is not in a good place these days.

He is very fragile and he needs to be helped to do something about all of this. But I know he will have to do it in easy steps and easy stages.

My hope is to get him to open up a little more about it all and how it has affected him.

I then want to accompany him to make a complaint to the police - whom he does not like.

I then want us to let the priest's dioceses know and get them to pay for therapy for him - as I have done before with others.

THE PRIEST:

Let me assure my readers that the alleged priest in question is not in active ministry and therefore not in a position to hurt any others. For now I will not address the priest's identity or situation.

Were he I would have been on to the police - with or without the permission of the victim.

My priority now is to help the victim move from the bad place he is at to a better place.

I know how to do that - and I will not fail this victim in anyway.

But let it be a reminder to readers that there are still many victims out there who have yet to come forward.

Please keep Kevin and them in your thoughts and prayers.

Melbourne priest Peter Grasby moves to Malaysia to pursue 'young Asian men' while on paid leave

A Catholic priest stood down amid child sexual abuse allegations has moved to Malaysia, where he is using a gay dating website to seek the company of "young Asian men" while on paid leave.
Stood down amid child sexual abuse allegations, Father Peter Grasby has moved to Malaysia.
Father Peter Grasby, who is suspected of abusing boys from at least two Melbourne parishes during almost 40 years as a priest, also propositioned a former parishioner on a gay dating website, it can be revealed.
Father Grasby, the former parish priest of St Mary Magdalen in Jordanville, near Chadstone, was placed on administrative leave from the position when he was accused of abusing a boy aged 10 to 14 in another parish more than three decades earlier.

Father Peter Grasby describes himself on a gay dating website as a 'well educated and really soft hearted mature GWM [gay white male]'.

He was also accused in a Victorian parliamentary inquiry of allowing boys to sleep in his former presbytery at St Michael's in North Melbourne and of surrounding himself with a concerning number of young Vietnamese boys at St Mary Magdalen.
The case of Father Grasby, who was placed on administrative leave in 2012, raises questions about the Melbourne Response, engineered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne to handle sexual abuse complaints, and the role it plays in allowing suspected serial offenders to go free on paid leave without supervision, a victim's support group says.

According to his profile on a gay dating website Planetromeo, Father Grasby travelled to Kuching, a city in eastern Malaysia considered more liberal than much of the Islamic country, on January 23.
Father Grasby says on his profile that he is a 66-year-old Catholic who "happens to like younger Asian men" aged from 18 to 35 but is "not on here looking for sex, because I am getting a bit too old to get hard!".

Father Grasby has been popular on gay dating site Planetromeo, with his profile visited 7907 times.
The profile also lists details about his genitals and sexual preferences, and he describes himself as a "well-educated and really soft-hearted mature GWM [gay white male]."
It is believed Father Grasby listed his location on Planetromeo as the "Kensington/North Melbourne region" - near where he had been suspected of abusing boys at St Michael's - before he moved to Malaysia.
It appears Father Grasby has been popular on Planetromeo, with his profile showing it had been visited 7907 times.
A former parishioner at St Mary Magdalen said he was stunned when he was contacted by Father Grasby on Planetromeo. The approach came before the priest left Melbourne.
The parishioner, who did not wish to be named, contacted the archdiocese and was told Father Grasby was on leave.
While the priest probably contacted the parishioner randomly as his profile stated that he was Asian, Father Grasby continued his advances even after the parishioner said he used to attend his church.
The parishioner was told by a friend that Father Grasby had also contacted him on other dating applications.
The former parishioner was told by Father Grasby that he was no longer a priest, seemingly contradicting the position of the church.
"Although I virtually have left Catholicism, this incident definitely help solidify my decision," the former parishioner said.
"I contacted the archdiocese right after finding out [because], given the allegations of church cover up, I wanted to know if Grasby was still a priest.
"It showed that the Church was clearly covering up."
Helen Last, director of the In Good Faith Foundation, which provides support to the victims of church-related abuse, told the Victorian parliamentary inquiry into the handling of child abuse by religious and other organisations there had long been concerns about Father Grasby.
She said it appeared Father Grasby was housed in the St Patrick's Cathedral presbytery, where many alleged abusers were sent, when he was between St Michael's and St Mary Magdalen during the 2000s.
"I had people coming to me, telling me — knocking on my door and telling me — that he had too many young men coming in and out of the presbytery and actually sleeping there — and other things.
"Whilst I was being told that, he was suddenly removed from North Melbourne and put in the St Patrick's Cathedral presbytery, where many men who are not behaving well spend quite a lot of time because it is very close to the administration systems, and they can be closely watched.
"The parishioners [at Jordanville] are saying that so many Vietnamese boys have been surrounding him and coming in and out ... nothing else has been done for that parish."
It is understood former parishioners and neighbours also raised concerns about the priest when it appeared a young homeless man was sleeping with him at the St Michael's presbytery.
Ms Last said the handling of Father Grasby and priests like him was sadly far too common, and there was clear evidence that those on administrative leave required closer monitoring.
The Melbourne Response has been repeatedly criticised for being less than transparent about revealing the identity of paedophile priests, and for paying inadequate compensation to victims.
Under the response, complaints made to the archdiocese are investigated and, if proven, compensation is paid to the victim, on the condition that further claims cannot be made. Compensation is capped at $75,000.
When Father Grasby was placed on leave in 2012, Monsignor Greg Bennet, the vicar-general of the Melbourne archdiocese, said the priest denied the allegations and was assisting the church in an independent investigation.
The alleged victim had been urged to report the matter to police by the church, but had declined to do so and signed a document to confirm the decision, Monsignor Bennet said.
The Age has confirmed that Father Grasby is not subject to any current police investigation. Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne spokesman Shane Healy confirmed Father Grasby remained on administrative leave.
He would not confirm whether Father Grasby had to comply with certain conditions while he was on leave, or whether the complaint made against the priest in 2012 had been proven.
"He is without the faculties to function as a priest," Mr Healy said.
Priests on administrative leave are given housing, or a housing allowance, and the same wages and insurance benefits they had been paid prior to the complaint.
There are believed to be 30 priests - half of whom were convicted of child sex crimes, and the other half who are confirmed abusers but were not convicted - who are being given financial support by the archdiocese.
In 2014, during a hearing of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, the archdiocese announced that it would conduct an independent review of the Melbourne Response.

But the review by former Federal Court judge Donnell Ryan QC has not been released, despite being completed in September last year.

pat says:

Father Grasby is another one of Cardinal Goeorge Pell's priests when he was Archbishop of Melbourne.

Its very strange that Grasby is free to travel Asia looking for young men when he is on leave of absence and is still being paid and kept by Melbourne archdiocese.

Someone. somewhere is not supervising him properly!

There are many thousands of priests like Grasby throughout the Catholic Church worldwide.

And many like him in Irish dioceses operating under the radar.

People will see more of these cases emerge in the future.

I think that Catholics are having their eyes opened.

UPDATE:

Paedophile Catholic priest Peter Grasby dies
A paedophile priest who fled to Malaysia on paid leave to seek the company of "younger Asian men" has died.
Father Peter Grasby left Australia in January, despite a travel ban issued by the Catholic archdiocese of Melbourne as a condition of his administrative leave.
The spokesman would also not confirm whether any complaints regarding the priest remained outstanding. The archdiocese previously said Father Grasby's conduct since he was placed on administrative leave would be reviewed.
A victim of Father Grasby urged the Catholic Church to confirm how many victims had reported abuse at the hands of the priest, who had been suspected of predatory behaviour at parishes across Melbourne over almost 40 years.
Investigators with the church's Melbourne Response upheld a complaint in 2013 that he abused a 10-year-old boy while he was assistant priest at St Joseph's West Brunswick in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Father Grasby was placed on administrative leave in 2012, while he was parish priest of St Mary Magdalen in Chadstone.
Father Grasby was accused during a Victorian parliamentary inquiry of inappropriate behaviour at St Michael's in North Melbourne, a church where he worked before moving to St Mary Magdalen.

"I knew there was no possible way I could be the only one," the victim said.
"He was evil, and he was treated like a protected species. What he thought he could get away with was unbelievable.
"I certainly won't be shedding a tear that he's gone."
Priests on administrative leave are given housing, or a housing allowance, and the same wages and insurance benefits they had been paid prior to a complaint being made.
Father Grasby's disregard for the conditions of his leave, and the failure of the archdiocese to properly supervise him, was revealed  when he started using gay dating websites.
One of the men he propositioned on the website Planetromeo was a former parishioner from St Mary Magdalen who was alarmed at the freedom afforded to the paedophile priest.

PAT SAYS:

Father Grasby is dead/ He died 12 months ago.

But the Archdiocese of Melbourne willo not say:

Where he died?

How he died?

How many victims he leaves behind?

MELBOURNE IS STILL USING THE PELL STRATEGY OF LIES AND COVER UP.

God will judge Grasby.

But at least we know now that there will be no more victims.
